When you are busy like i am it is a lot easier for me to outsource my content to an Indian company rather than paying an English journalist. All I have to do is read over the content and make a few changes. It has saved me so much money using Indian companies for my online content.

The truth is sadder than you not knowing about India. The articles are not worse than Yahoo Babelfish translations. If they got an american to edit the articles Niche India would kick ass. Then they could charge $6 or $7 an article (the daily working rate in this English speaking country) and we'd all be out of business.<br>They just need an editor and we'd all be screwed.

First, good for you for knowing English is an official language of India. I didn’t know that. I feel a little foolish.
That said, I don’t agree that I took a cheap shot at Indian people. I ridiculed Niche Writers India’s writing. I did this for one reason: it’s ridiculous.
The reason I might have harped on India was to make a point about content’s value, as well as the unfortunate nature of offshore outsourcing. Many corporations based here take advantage of cheap labor in other countries. Often, this results in poorly made products. The product in this case is content that confuses rather than informs.
So, by pointing out that this product is sub-par, am I knocking the men or women who wrote the content? Am I knocking India as a country? I don’t believe so. I believe I’m knocking a system. A system in which corporations are too cheap to pay fare wages, so they go overseas where people work for less because they have fewer options. I believe I’m knocking a system that values profit over quality, and in doing so engages the economically underprivileged to manufacture products that don’t work well. That is all.

English is one of India's official languages, and I bet plenty of Indians are willing and able to do great "technical and advanced" writing for far less than you'd charge. The site you pointed to is awful, but a crummy writer is crummy on any continent. Ridiculing it based on location was a cheap shot.
